XtremeEDA Names Chris Raeuber as Vice President of Engineering

Ottawa, Ontario and Austin, Texas – June 12, 2018
XtremeEDA is very pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Raeuber as the Vice President of Engineering. Developing ASICs, SoCs and FPGAs since 1987, Chris has worked at all levels of the design flow process from architecture specification to product realization, spanning many commercial and government / classified sectors of the semiconductor industry.
Claude Cloutier, CEO of XtremeEDA, made the announcement in a company-wide meeting. “Since joining XtremeEDA in 2011, Chris has made enormous contributions to many clients as a Design Consultant, Technical Lead, and Director of Engineering — initially for our US East region and subsequently for all of the US. He now leads the entire engineering department,” Claude explained.
Through our RISC-V consortium membership, Chris and his team have actively engaged with the RISC-V community and will continue to grow the company’s involvement and contributions to this important open source industry initiative.
XtremeEDA is a North American team of ASIC design and verification engineers who bring together hundreds of years of combined semiconductor development experience and expertise spanning the processor, networking, telecommunications, aviation/avionics, automotive, medical, consumer electronics, and other sectors.
