Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience with embedded C/C++ coding and testing
  • Expertise with coding for bare metal processor cores such as RISC-V and ARM
  • Be able to configure and install OSes, such as FreeRTOS and Linux
  • Familiar with FPGA development boards as a software test platform
  • Willingness to work and learn RTL simulation environments
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and communicate with team members to solve problems
  • Be committed to meeting scheduled milestones and stay focused

Desired Qualifications

  • Interact with project team
  • Coding and understanding assembly code
  • CPU architecture experience
  • Familiarity with standard peripherals and drivers (DMA, UART, I2C, SPI, etc.)
  • Proficient in reading board schematics
  • Scripting language experience (python, bash, etc)

Senior/Principal Firmware Engineer

Job Duties: Develop C and C++ code for embedded systems, including support for RISC-V and ARM processor cores and peripherals. Leverage and understand existing code base. Write code to support embedded applications and complex RTL simulations. Test planning, develop code for test-bench, stimulus, and support functional coverage. Be actively involved in root-cause debug and coverage closure. Ability to collaborate in a multi-site development environment. Work with and support project leaders and team members to implement technical requirements, assess and aid in project planning. Develop code and drivers for embedded Linux and other OS such as FreeRTOS.

Senior / Principal Verification Engineer

Job Duties: Perform IP, subsystem and/or SOC-level verification: test planning, develop test-bench components infrastructure, stimulus, and functional coverage. Expert in verification environment development using high-level verification languages and latest industry standard verification methodologies. Actively involved in root-cause debug and coverage closure. Ability to collaborate in a multi-site development environment. Work with project leaders and team members to implement technical requirements, assess and aid in project planning. Ability to technically lead client engagements when required.

Qualifications
  • Experience in ASIC/SoC/FPGA verification in a team environment
  • Experience in applying SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM or equivalent methodology
  • Experience using simulation tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor/Siemens.
  • Architecting verification environments using SV and other Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques
  • Experience with developing test plan specification, random constrained driven test generation, assertion-based verification and functional coverage
  • Efficient triage and root cause debugging capabilities
  • Ability to lead verification team
  • Proficiency in C++, scripting languages including Python, Perl, Tcl, Make
  • ARM Architecture and AMBA AHB / APB / AXI bus protocols
  • High-speed I/O (e.g. Ethernet, PCle, USB, SATA, and/or SerDes)
  • Efficient triage and root-cause debug capabilities
  • Experience leading a technical team in semiconductor hardware development context is a plus

Qualifications
  • Experience in all aspects of ASIC and/or complex FPGA.
  • Experience using industry standard EDA tools, such as, Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor/Siemens and MatLAB.
  • Experience in IP core integration, such as High-speed Ethernet, AXI, AHB, APB, PCle, LPDDR, DDR, RISCV, Multi core processor
  • Experience in PPA (Power, Performance, Area) estimation analysis for design optimization
  • Applied skills in RTL coding Verilog, System Verilog and VHDL
  • Proficient in RTL C/C++, Perl, Tcl, Python
  • Experience with full product life cycle (requirements, design, implementation and test) of design processes
  • Working knowledge of digital signal processing and digital interfaces
  • Be able to work in teams and communicate clearly across various levels of management and engineers

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Xilinx, Altera, and/or Actel FPGA technology
  • Experience leading a small project team to successfully complete ASIC and/or complex FPGA Design

Senior / Principal Design Engineer

Job Duties: Work with design project leaders and designers to implement technical requirements, create specifications, and implement designs in a variety of architectures such as Multi-core CPU/GPU, Digital Signal Processing, RISC-V, High-Speed Ethernet, DDR. Responsible for developing logic designs using RTL at different levels of ASIC development process from design to synthesis including Static Timing Analysis. Responsible for integrating existing IP blocks into new designs. Carry out performance and power estimations.
