Kamran Haqqani joins as Vice President of Strategy

Ottawa, Canada – November 10, 2021 – XtremeEDA, a leading provider of professional design and functional verification services solutions announced today that semiconductor industry veteran Kamran Haqqani has joined the company as Vice President of Strategy.

Mr. Haqqani was most recently Director of Engineering at Maxim Integrated in Dallas, Texas where he led a team of highly skilled digital IC Design, Firmware and Mixed signal Verification teams. He has developed and deployed advanced frontend to backend methodologies which helped introduce over 30+ tapeouts with first pass functionally sampleable products. He has also been a member and co-chair of DVCon mixed signal technical program committee.

Prior to his tenure at Maxim, Mr. Haqqani held positions in technology companies such as Synopsys, Cadence and Sigpro Wireless. His extensive years of experience in ASIC design and verification has made him an industry recognized leader in low power and mixed signal design. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Carleton University and multiple certifications in Project Management, Leadership, AI/automation from Stanford and MIT.
